Terms of Service

01Introduction

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of unitylicenses.io and any services, tools, or communications operated by Unity Licenses ("Unity Licenses", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing the site or claiming a licence, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Unity Licenses is an independent node operator participating in the Unity verification network operated by Unity Network Limited. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a representative of Unity Network Limited, UnityNodes.io, or any related entity. We simply operate nodes on the Unity network and distribute a limited number of complimentary operator licences to members of the public under our own terms.

Our Privacy Policy, Withdrawal Policy and Risk Disclosure are incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not use the site or claim a licence.

02Eligibility

Age & capacity

You must be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your country of residence in order to claim a licence from us.

Identity information

To claim a licence we currently require a valid name and email address. We may, at our discretion, request additional identity verification (for example a government-issued ID or proof of address) if we suspect fraudulent activity, duplicate claims, or breach of these Terms. Failure to complete any reasonable verification we request may result in your licence being revoked.

Restricted jurisdictions

Licences are not available to individuals or entities located in, or with citizenship of, jurisdictions where the Unity network, VoIP-style telecom services or our activities are restricted or prohibited. This includes but is not limited to the United Arab Emirates, Oman, China, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, together with any other jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions. You are responsible for determining whether your use of our services is lawful in your jurisdiction.

One device, one claim

Each eligible device may claim a single licence. The use of VPNs, virtual machines, datacentre IPs, emulators, rooted or jailbroken devices, synthetic devices, or any automated infrastructure is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate revocation without compensation.

03Prohibited use

You agree that you will not use the site, your licence, or the Unity App in a way that:

• Violates any applicable law, regulation or sanctions regime;
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, misleading or harmful to any person;
• Involves the purchase, sale or facilitation of prohibited goods or services;
• Infringes any intellectual property, privacy or other third-party right;
• Attempts to gain unauthorised access to, probe, disable, or interfere with our systems or any part of the Unity network;
• Transmits malware, scripts, or other harmful code;
• Circumvents our eligibility checks, anti-fraud measures, or geographic restrictions; or
• Engages in money laundering, terrorism financing, or the evasion of tax or sanctions obligations.

We may suspend or terminate access, revoke licences, and report prohibited conduct to the relevant authorities where we consider it appropriate.

04Disclaimer of warranties

The site, the licences we distribute, and any information we provide are furnished on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We provide no guarantee of uptime, reward generation, reward amount, token value, or availability of the Unity App, the Unity verification network, any blockchain, or any third-party service. Any figures, calculators or projections shown on the site are illustrative only and are not a promise of future rewards.

05The licence

What the licence is

A Unity Licence is a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to operate a verification node on the Unity network through the official Unity App, using an operator slot allocated and maintained by Unity Licenses.

Term

Unless terminated earlier, each licence is valid for one (1) year from the date of successful activation inside the Unity App. We reserve the right to offer renewal terms if slots remain available in the following pool, but renewal is not guaranteed.

Activation window

A claimed licence that is not activated inside the Unity App within 24 hours of the claim may be released back into the available pool, and your activation code may no longer function. You may claim again if slots remain.

Transfer

Licences are bound to the wallet or email used to verify ownership inside the Unity App and are non-transferable during the term. Any attempt to resell, lease, or transfer a licence to a third party is prohibited and will result in revocation without compensation.

Rewards and the 50/50 split

Verification rewards generated by your licensed node are split evenly — 50% to you as the licence holder, 50% to Unity Licenses as the node operator — for the duration of the term. Rewards are denominated by the Unity network in its supported cryptocurrencies and are subject to the withdrawal threshold, fees and conditions set by the Unity App and the relevant blockchain networks.

Monthly operator fee

During the one-year term we cover the Unity operator fee (currently USD $1.99–$3.99 per month) on your behalf. If the fee changes or is removed by Unity Network Limited we are not obliged to reimburse or compensate you.

06Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the Unity App, the Unity operator software and the underlying verification protocol are the exclusive property of Unity Network Limited and its licensors. All intellectual property rights in unitylicenses.io, including our branding, copy, layout, code, and marks, are the exclusive property of Unity Licenses.

These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property to you. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the site and to operate your allocated licence solely for the purposes described in these Terms. You may not copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works of any of our or Unity Network Limited's software or content.

07Privacy & data protection

We collect the minimum information required to issue and manage your licence — currently your name, email address, and, where provided, the wallet or email you use to verify inside the Unity App. How we handle that information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

We are designed to be GDPR compliant. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not access contacts, messages, photos or phone numbers on your device. The Unity App itself only monitors the carrier network — not your personal activity — and is operated by Unity Network Limited under its own privacy notice.

08Payments, fees and refunds

Licences currently free

Licences distributed via unitylicenses.io are, at the time of publication, free to claim. We reserve the right to introduce paid licence options, premium tiers, or one-off activation fees in future, in which case the applicable pricing and payment terms will be shown before you confirm purchase.

Gas and network fees

Any blockchain, exchange or withdrawal fees associated with receiving your rewards from the Unity App are your sole responsibility and are non-refundable.

No refunds

Where a paid licence or any optional extra is purchased from us in future, the purchase price is final and non-refundable once paid, except where required by law or granted at our sole discretion. Chargebacks raised after confirmation are prohibited and will result in immediate revocation and potential legal action.

Taxes

You are responsible for determining and paying any taxes applicable to rewards you receive. We do not provide tax, financial or legal advice.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unity Licenses, its directors, officers, employees and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with the site, your licence or these Terms.

Our total aggregate liability to you, under any theory of liability, shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you have actually paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, and (b) USD $50.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Unity Licenses and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees and contractors from and against any claim, loss, damage, liability, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected to:

• Your breach of these Terms or any incorporated policy;
• Your use or misuse of the site, your licence, or the Unity App;
• Your breach of any applicable law; or
• Any claim by a third party arising from your conduct, content, or wallet activity.

11Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site and revoke any licence immediately, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behaviour, or put the integrity of our node pool at risk.

Upon termination for breach:

• Your licence and associated slot are forfeited and revert to Unity Licenses;
• Any pending or undistributed rewards may be withheld;
• You shall have no entitlement to refund, compensation or other remedy.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will do so.

12Force majeure

Neither party shall be liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond their reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemic, epidemic, government action, or the failure or degradation of any third-party telecommunications, cloud, blockchain or payment infrastructure. The affected party shall notify the other as soon as reasonably practicable.

13Governing law & disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for the resolution of any such dispute, save where applicable consumer-protection law grants you rights to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

14General

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Withdrawal Policy and Risk Disclosure, constitute the entire agreement between you and Unity Licenses regarding the site and your licence, and supersede all prior agreements, understandings and representations on that subject.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations to an affiliate or successor without your consent.

Severability

If any provision is found to be unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent required to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

No waiver

No failure or delay in exercising any right shall operate as a waiver of that right. Any waiver must be in writing.

Amendments

We may amend these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this site. Material changes will, where practicable, be notified by email. Your continued use of the site or your licence after publication of the amended Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.

Notices to us should be sent to legal@unitylicenses.io. Notices to you will be sent to the email address on file or posted on the site, and will be deemed received within 24 hours of sending or posting. All notices must be in English.
